Original French Berthier Bayonet Hook Guard Wood Grips Thsi auction is for an original french berthier bayonet. Balde is bright with some age spots, straight, with no extra sharpening or abuse. Wood grips are very good. Pommel and guard metal have gone an even brown color. Button works smoothly and should lock pu perfectly on your rifle. Scabbard is strainght and un-dinged but is rusty. I can find on numbers anywhere on the bayonet itself, only the blade ricasso stamps. Scabbard is numbered but seems as fi there was an attempt to scrub the stamps. Please see the auction photos that will accuartely show condition and completeness. Winner will pay $9 for usps priority mail shipping within conus.
